Our after-hours service is designed for urgent and emergency
calls that can’t wait until morning. If you are having a
life-threatening emergency, call 911. A Birth & Family Clinic
physician is on-call twenty-four hours a day for urgent care
needs. If you call Birth & Family Clinic after hours, our
answering service will forward you to the physician on-call.
For other after-hours medical questions, many insurance
companies provide a nurse line that can help answer non-urgent
questions. Check your insurer's website or the back of your
insurance card for contact information. For pediatric medical
questions, Children's Hospital also has a 24 hour nurse line at
