Referrals
|
Many insurance plans require a referral from your primary care provider to see a specialist. To avoid having to pay out-of-pocket costs, please carefully read your benefit information to determine your insurance company's policy on referrals and specialty care.
It takes seven working days to process a request for a referral, unless the situation is emergent. Our office will send a copy of all required medical records to the specialty provider. Authorizations for specialty care have time and visit limitations. Additional authorizations may be required if your circumstance changes. Our referral coordinator can be reached at (425) 640-4953.
